The Green family, from left, Trejeonna, 6 months, Eileene Miller-Green, and her husband, Darcel, are among an increasing number of Lawrence families who are homeless. Forced out of their apartment because of financial reasons, they sought assistance from The Salvation Army shelter, where they slept on the floor of the sanctuary. Trejeonna contracted a respiratory illness and was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, where they were pictured on Wednesday.
