Big Jay entertains Kansas University football fans gathered to wish the team well on their trip to the Orange Bowl to face Virginia Tech.

The Jayhawks received the royal treatment from fans on Thursday morning as they left Lawrence en route for Miami, where they will take on Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl on Jan. 3.

Hundreds of fans braved frigid morning temperatures to send the team off Thursday.
