The butterfly garden behind Foley Hall on KU's West Campus is marked by paths that take visitors through a peaceful, natural setting.

Kit Carlsen, Lawrence, member of the Prairie Acres Garden Club, plants flowers in the Audio-Reader Sensory Garden at Kansas University. Carlsen volunteers in the garden a few times a month. The tranquil spot is one of KU's top campus sites to visit.
A youth participating in the summer Upward Bound program at KU bowls at the Jaybowl in the Kansas Union. The bowling alley is a popular spot for KU students to visit and was a haunt of basketball player Julian Wright.
Teens with the Upward Bound youth program spend an afternoon at the Jaybowl in the Kansas Union. The social site is a popular spot for KU students.
