Couples - Beckner
Dot and Gary Beckner dated for almost a year when they were 17 and living in Wichita. Their first date was to a Pizza Hut and a drive-in movie, "Easy Rider" in Gary's 1958 Chevy Delray. After high school they went their separate ways and married other people. In 2002 they met again at their 30-year Wichita North High School reunion. They were married last October and live in Lawrence.
