Stickers with Twister DeVonte Brockman's number were passed out at the Youth Football games for players of Brockman's team and competing teams to put on their helmets. Coaches have asked the players to leave the stickers on in rememberance of Brockman for the rest of the season. A ceremony was also held to retire Brockman's jersey number Sunday afternoon. Brockman died in a Lawrence house fire with four other family members earlier this month.
