Topeka Shiners

Jerry de Noyelles, left, explains the Topeka Shiner's reproduction process to a group of students from universities across the country. The students, from as far away as Columbia University in New York City, are studying organisms for 10 weeks as Kansas University. The students were introduced to the Topeka Shiner Behavioral Research project on Wednesday at the Kansas Aquatic Research Station.
