Toby Dietz
"If you wanted any trees around your place you planted them," Toby Dietz said as he looked across one of his fields six miles east of Ness City. Dietz was born in Western Kansas 94 years ago. His grandparents immigrated to Russell County from Russia in 1880, the year Dietz's father was born. The trees in the horizon are around the Dietz farm.
