Dennis Wingert, shown in his Lawrence home, is recovering from a December accident at work in which a piece of industrial air-conditioning equipment fell on top of him. The accident left him with a broken left arm, two broken vertebrae, a broken nose, a broken right leg, and a 5-inch laceration from his ear down his cheek. He credits the support of friends and family for the recovery he has made so far.
