Ceramic artist and instructor Kim Brook carefully places a ceramic bowl among others on display in preparation for today’s Souper Bowl event at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire St. Patrons who purchase a ceramic bowl can have it filled with soup, along with a roll and a drink. The event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, and it will feature close to 1,000 bowls created by about 20 local artists. Proceeds from the event will benefit the arts center’s visual arts education program.
