The Union Pacific Railroad's famous steam locomotive No. 844 passes by the Lawrence Visitor Center and former UP depot in North Lawrence on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, on its way to Kansas City. The locomotive is on a tour through the U.S. celebrating UP's 150th anniversary. The train will stop at the Union Station in Kansas City through Sunday and depart Monday morning, heading south toward Oklahoma and a final destination of Houston.
