Dann was recognized for his support to the early childhood program in the district, which since 1998 has amounted to gifts of more than $600,000. Georgeson is the son of the late Bob Georgeson, who was honored in a memorial tribute for his years of volunteering and dedication to youths in Lawrence. Hodgson, a retired teacher in the district, went to Lawrence High School with Dann.
