Thomas Shmalberg, production supervisor at Scotch Fabric Care Services, Lawrence, figures the company has collected and cleaned 2,500 coats so far for the annual Share the Warmth program. The Salvation Army of Lawrence will handle the distribution of the coats at Suite 119 at the I-70 Business Center in North Lawrence. The coat giveaway will take place from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 30 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 1. This will be the 26th year for the program.
