Dramatic lighting and the sound of rhythmic drumming propel dancers with the group Quixotic as they rehearse Friday afternoon prior to their performance at the Lied Center. The Kansas City-based group includes Kansas University adjunct professor of percussion Brandon Draper and incorporates multiple disciplines including aerial acrobatics, fashion, music and visual effects.
