Albert Terry, Lawrence, far left, and his wife Lillie, second from left, wait in line for the doors to open at 7 a.m., so they can vote in Tuesday's general election at the Lawrence Convention and Visitors Center in the former Union Pacific Depot. Albert was in line at 5 a.m. to hold a spot for his wife so she could vote early and get to her job in Kansas City by 8 a.m. About 20 people were in line at the depot when the poll opened. The Jayhawk, pictured at right of center, had no ID and was unable to vote.
