Capt. TiCondra Swartz, originally from Lawrence, returned from her deployment to the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She was welcomed home Dec. 4 at Schofield Barracks in Oahu, Hawaii, by her husband, Colin Swartz, also originally from Lawrence, friends and a new puppy.
