Johanna Mehl, a KU senior from Lawrence, applies a screen print to a fabric piece that combines images from Japan and Kansas, including Buddha and bison, to reflect her heritage of both locales. Mehl, majoring in textile and fiber, was working on the piece in her Senior Studio classroom Monday at KU.
