Besides an interest in each other, husband and wife Josh and Katy Nahm share an interest in teaching the game of golf. While Josh works as an instructor, Katy is an assistant coach on the Kansas University women's team.

This property located at 1605 E. 550 Road has been seized in connection with a recent bust of a drug ring. The home was under construction by owners Chad Bauman and Carey Willming, who federal agents believe financed the build with drug money.

Sean Mawhirter, a Lawrence musician, plays in the 2010 Iowa City Jazz Fest as part of a quartet. Mawhirter has organized a music festival that will benefit the American Cancer Society. The festival will be Saturday evening in South Park.
