A blanket of fresh snow creates a nice white canvas to contrast these wild turkeys against a farm field. Using snow backdrops and finding darker subject matter to incorporate into the scene are good ways to improve wintertime images. To photograph falling snow look for dark backgrounds to help show off the snowflakes.
