Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback, pictured in January, unveiled Wednesday a finance overhaul that would let local taxpayers raise property taxes as high as they wanted for education. The proposal received both comments of praise and concern from State Board of Education members.

Wow The Democrats, School Administrators, Teachers Unions and others who live off of the taxpayers are whing . Is anyone surprised? The plans allows virtually total flexibility for the local citizens to pay to educate their own local kids. The state is paying for the basics and the locals can do what they want to fund the rest. Makes a lot of sense to me
