Lawrence resident Bob Kania gets a visit from Rondi Erickson, his case manager who is employed by communityworksinc. They were discussing topics ranging from Medicaid to Johnny Cash. Due to the recent Medicaid cuts, Erickson's wages and benefits were cut. She also had to file an extensive report in January that justified why Kania needs more than 10 hours of care per day. So far, the state is paying for his care.
