Two coaches from Haskell Indian Nations University and two athletes were inducted into the American Indian Athletic Hall of Fame on May 2 at the Prairie Band Casino in Mayetta. Pictured from left, are Doug and Lollie Coffin, accepting the posthumous award for Haskell coach Warner A. "Tony" Coffin; Melvin "Pete" Peterson, tennis; Joseph Hipp, boxing; and Haskell coach Gerald L. "Jerry" Tuckwin. The plaques will hang in the Hall of Fame display at Haskell.
