Brandon Jones, 22, talks about his pending participation in a cancer treatment study in Omaha, Neb., while a friend, Megan Huber, listens at his home in Pittsburg. Jones, a senior construction management student at Pittsburg State University, was diagnosed in 2005 with Ewing’s sarcoma and is on his third recurrence of the disease, which typically strikes people between the ages of 7 and 20.
