Implementing more environmentally friendly practices is a key objective for Berry Plastics, which estimates that energy-saving efforts have reduced its contribution to area landfills by 600 tons in the last five years. It’s an example of green- friendly business that the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce hopes to incorporate in the future.
