At left, a Stofen Omni Bounce is attached to the top of a Nikon Speedlight SB-800 tilted at a 45-degree angle. At center is an older Vivitar 283 flash, pointed straight up, with a piece of white cardboard secured to the flash with a rubber-band. Both devices help diffuse light toward a subject.
