Emma Machell and Jessica Devlin dressed up as their favorite animals, a cat and a fox, for Halloween when they were 9 and 10, respectively. Emma, now a seventh grader at West Junior High School, said it was so cold that night that they wore sweaters, sweat pants, sweatshirts and hats to keep warm. "We looked like colorful marshmallows waddling around the neighborhood." Emma said she remembers sorting and swapping candy with her friend.
