Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline answers a question during a news conference Friday at his office in Topeka. Kline, a vocal abortion opponent, charged a well-known abortion provider, Dr. George Tiller, with illegally performing late-term abortions, but a Sedgwick County judge on Friday threw out the charges. Kline, who lost his re-election bid in November and leaves office in less than three weeks, said he would try to get the charges reinstated.
