Alicia Janesko, director of economic development for the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, and Kari Abram, the chamber's economic development coordinator, serve hot dogs at the chamber's annual Hot Dogs and Thanks event at the East Hills Business Park. Thursday's event served 1,600 hot dogs to area industrial park workers. Douglas County commissioners are considering changing how future industrial park land is sold to companies for development.
