Holocaust survivor Eva Edmands hid with her family during World War II in a rectory, where they were cared for by a French priest, L'abbe Claudius Longeray, shown in the photograph. Edmands now lives in Lawrence. On Thursday, Alan Berger, a Holocaust scholar, will speak at the Lawrence Jewish Community Center about the experience of "hidden children" like Edmands.
