Thank you so much for this link. By the end I was ready to cry for the old man and his animals. I can truly identify with how he felt, impossibly weary in body and mind.

I stayed home on Friday the 13th. There are several little superstitutions that I follow even though they make no sense because they were instilled in me when I was a child and so are part of my mental and emotional makeup.
