Do you plan on driving in central Lawrence on Friday night with the KU basketball game and the Lawrence High football game scheduled at the same time?
Asked at Massachusetts Street on November 8, 2012
“No. For us that live in the area it’s a challenge. I am a fan of KU basketball but don’t want my life to be dictated by a game. ”
“ I won’t be driving. But I will be going to the Mass Street Sweets grand opening.”
“I was planning on going out to ice cream with my sister, but knowing that I think we will walk. ”
“ I’m planning on trying to get up to campus before the game begins and getting a spot. It gets out of control.”

LJW.. Is this the best you can up with?? Answer is no, as with every other day that I get home.
But, thanks for tipping off the crazies as to where to plant something like an I.E.D. Might even help our local "Firebug."
/Shrugging my head....You even gave logistics. Sharp as a marble . . . . .

I'll just stay home and watch WWE Friday Night Smackdown. Or clip my toe nails.
If I want some real entertainment I might do both.

I hear rumors of prairie dog eradication in NW Kansas.
Now that there would be a riot.

Klumma and BABBOY cut the LJW some slack today. i don't have access to the numbers so I can't tell you the frequency of this occurrence though I know it is extremely rare, but today we have been presented with an "On the street" question that actually has something to do with being on the street.
I wonder if this may have something to do with events leading up to Dec. 21.

Only if I'm drunk. Mass Street Sweets. Catchy. Like Cupcake Construction Co. I wonder how many weeks this one will stay open. Did you know that George's Pipe Shop was downtown for decades? So were Jennings Daylight Donuts and John's Novelties. That was before someone ruined Downtown Lawrence with all the hip and vibrant boutique stores.

I don't use the Facebook or the Twitter, but I may start a flash mob.

I miss Town Crier. When I was a kid I'd go in there and slip a Playboy inside a Life magazine and really enjoy myself. I never got caught, only at Dean's Books.

I used to work the pipe shop at Town Crier. There were a lot of kids like Eddie perusing the magazines. They had a great selection.
There was this guy came in every Sunday & bought train magazines, cheap cigars & 2 or 3 porn novels. I sensed a theme with his purchases. It was my job to keep the titles in the porn section stocked because none of the girls wanted anything to do with it.
