My dad would always bring home anybody's unwanted strays so I don't remember the "first" one. I do remember when I was 4 or 5 he brought home a German Shepherd that had been kept in a small cage all its life. It would not walk in a straight line and when excited would run in tight little circles. We named him Spinner.

This reminds me of the email I received a while back. You can deduce your pornstar name by combing your first pets name and the street you grew up on.

Hey, there are teal riding this cool front. Got 2 this morning by walking them out of the weeds around a small pond. "If it flies it dies and the brown dog retrieves it."

Some guy in New York had a dog that talked to David Berkowitz. Mr Berkowitz listened.

Lest you think I just compared religion to schizophrenia, you are right.

I remember two. A dog named Bosco and a duck. From what I'm told, the dog would follow me and the duck would follow the dog. Bosco liked to chase cars, and I imagine that was his fatal flaw.

a boob, when I was 12! it was a sly move as I just streched out my right arm, let the had rub against it and bam, petting. I like heavy petting too

somedude20 3 years, 10 months ago

yes, if I did the same move now I have a feeling that I would be signing up for the sex offender registry

Mrs Roe's first pet was a German shorthair named Spot. Belonged to her brother first but wouldn't hunt anymore after he (the dog) peed on the electric fence . . . Don't suppose I would either . . .

Wow, missed the whole pet rock thing above. Mine was just a rock I got when I went away to school because we weren't allowed to have pets in our rooms. Sorry, it didn't talk or do anything, just sat there.

I think 17 or 18 was the most mine ever made it. Have one now that is 13 but has diabetes so don't think we'll make it to 20. 15 on a dog.

My Snoopy was a great pooch!! I trained her to poop in my parents bed and I would suck out the insides of the steak fries and fill them with nasty vegetables and feed them to my Snoopy. I was stationed in Hawaii when my folks had to put her down and for that I am happy as it would have broken my heart to have to put her down!

Miss ya Snoopy!!!
