The games at the Flavian Amphitheater, beginning about 80 A.D. A simple thumb up or down determined if you lived to play again. Unless you were devoured by the lions.

Still thinking on that one, but every time I see a personalized tag on a car it reminds me of an old game show that didn't last. It would show a personalized auto tag and the contestants tried to figure out what it meant. There are some tags that I see on cars that I never figure out.

"Jeopardy" is hands-down the top game show. "Millionaire" used to be a close second, but they dumbed-it-down too much. "Wheel" is light-weight, but fun.
"Gong Show" was the most wonderful, All-American spectacle ever aired.

On weekends like this I tend to end up playing games similar to "How fast will my dangling plumb-bob stop swinging?"
Sometimes it nearly approaches hoovering being a trophy husband.

Whoa! Travel Channel just had Wild Boar Hunting in Hawaii! Dogs and a Bowie type knife. Up close and personal! Sign me up!

Ever watch that knife show on one of the shopping channels? When just the two guys did it, it was hilarious. They get some monster knives and swords on there. But not as entertaining as it used to be.

Sounds like the dogs my husband has brought home in the past. That man could not pick out a smart dog if his life depended on it. Even his buddies would tell him he has a stupid dog and he'd argue with them about it. Never could teach any of them to do anything. Guess who's picking out the next one?

Match Game 73, 74,75, etc.
The Price is Right when Barker was still a brunette.
Also, the $1.98 Beauty Show. Gut-wrenching to watch, but could be somewhat facinating at times. Was just a kid when that was on, but something I'll never forget.
