Just finishing The Mists Of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Another of the many books written about the legendary King Arthur. This one is told from the point of few of the women of that era. Avalon is a mystical isle inhabited by priestesses of the goddess. They work their magic to put Arthur on the throne as High King of Britain. But things don't always work out as they planned. This is a very long book. 867 pages and every page full of narrative. This story was made into a TV 2 part movie. When a friend told me that I ran right to the video store and got it and it is very good but 3 hours long. Stars Julianna Margulis of ER fame. If you like fantasy give it a try.
