Gas or charcoal?

Asked at Massachusetts Street on July 02, 2006

“Charcoal. It adds flavor to the meat, and it's more instinctual to cook with.”

“Gas. We were given a gas grill for our wedding, so that's what we use. It's convenient and easy to use.”

“Definitely charcoal. Who wants to have a perfectly evenly cooked burger anyway? That's anti-barbecue.”

“Charcoal. It's more rugged. I like to make s'mores a lot, and there's something wrong with making s'mores on a gas grill. It's just not right.”
