Hannah, wait until you have to work for a living.

I am hoping for less storms, no more increases for utilities and gas companies, less crime and political greed and incompetence, wage increases for the working class (includes minimum wage increase), courteous drivers and just good will toward each other.

What am I looking forward to? Hmmmm? Well, I am not looking forward to peace in the world because I know that will not happen. Oh, I thought we were supposed to be realistic and honest on this forum. No? OK then, I look forward to a lot, a lot of troops coming home from the middle east. I look forward to democracy in the middle east and no more threat of terrorism and life returning to normal, whatever that is. I look forward to that because when the US gets out of the mid. east that threat will cease. Yeh, well, I can dream as good as the next one. :o) kansasdaughter - you go for it, lady. You will enjoy that cleanup. I did that very thing for an old cottage that I reclaimed and it was the joy of my life. Get dirt under your nails, get an aching back. Just do it. :o)

I found going to school to be much harder work than any work I've ever done.

Looking forward to me and the hubby once again smoking our ten-year younger friends in racketball.
Muhahahahaha! They thought they would beat us "old folks" but we schooled 'em! Spank, spank! Gosh that felt good.

Oh, sorry, got carried away there. OK, looking forward to: ME time. Finally getting that hour long massage. Doing much more creative things. Reading more. Never giving up the dream to lose those extra 10. My kids arguing less. HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA! Oh, I crack myself up!

1 year closer to electing Democrats as the majority in the House, Senate, and White House.

OMB - the house is almost ready to receive the guests/junkies. I have the treatment all worked out. If the crowd gets too large we can make a trek out to the cottage. There is plenty of wood piled up to keep us warm and toasty. You see, that's where the treatment comes in for the real bad junkies. There is no internet connection out there and the treatment involves the use of my collection of old Mickey Rourke movies. Repeated watching is sure to cure anyone of staring at ANY screen. Unless of course you are a Mickey fan. :o)
Any out there?

Have not seen Sin City and will not. My fav of his is Angel Heart. He is a very much under-rated actor, IMHO. But don't tell anyone that I said so.
