Should lobbyists be allowed to not record expenditures to lawmakers of less than $25?

“It’s tricky because there are always ways to get around it. If someone gave $24 every day, that’s $8,760 a year. That, to me, is a number that should be recorded.”

“If they use it responsibly, I’d be OK with it. They’d have to have rules for how often you’d use it.”

“I would be against that. I think they should be required to record it all. That’s their job. They’re paid to do that. It’s not like they’re public officials with better things to do.”

“It doesn’t seem like a real big deal, but I say stick it to the lobbyists and make them record everything.”
