Should a fraternity be held liable if it furnishes alcohol to a minor who then kills someone while driving intoxicated?
Asked at Borders Books, Music and Cafe, 700 N.H. on March 16, 2004
“I think they should be liable, obviously, if they bought the liquor for him.”
“I would say so. If they knew he was underage and they were responsible for getting him drunk, they should be responsible for not letting him drive.”
“Yes, because they’re the ones that provided the alcohol, so it’s their responsibility. Especially for a minor.”
“I believe that individuals should be held liable, not organizations.”
