Do you like the earlier school start date?
Asked at the Lawrence Aquatic Center on June 28, 2004
“No. I don’t think it’s enough of a vacation. It’s a rip-off. They keep starting earlier and earlier, and pretty soon the kids aren’t going to have a summer.”
“It doesn’t matter to me. I’d like them to get more school days in.”
“No, because we don’t get as long for summer.”
“No, because the pool opens later, and we don’t get as much time.”
