How does Gov. Kathleen Sebelius’ proposed tax increase change your opinion of the governor?
Asked at Massachusetts Street on January 14, 2004
“It makes me respect her more. We have to start paying more taxes and funding public education. Right now it’s ridiculous.”
“I didn’t have much of a stomach for her to begin with. It’s like Bush senior going back on everything once he was in office. Not a good way to make friends.”
“It depends on how it’s utilized — not lining higher officials’ pockets and actually helping students.”
“Previously I had the vaguest of opinions, but increases in education are one of the most essential ingredients for cultivating and continuing positive culture.”
