Should Pete Rose be readmitted into baseball after admitting he gambled?
Asked at Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt. on January 7, 2004
“I guess so. He told the truth, so why not?”
“At first I thought he should, but now I’m not so sure. Just because he admitted he lied doesn’t mean he should come back.”
“He should have the chance to be readmitted.”
“Yeah, I think he should. He gambled for his team, so he had spirit for his team. He admitted to it and did the manly thing.”
