Should Kansas raise the current state minimum wage of $2.65 to $7.50 by 2007?

“Yes, I do. I have two sons, one who’s seeking work and has two children to support. Minimum wage is what’s available to him right now, and it’s not enough.”
“I don’t think it’s good now. The job market is hard as it is. I’m looking for a job right now and can’t find anything. That would only make it harder.”
“I personally think that would be nice. $7.50 sounds good compared to $2.65. But then again, it depends on what prices will be like. It’s all relative.”
“I think it’s a good idea but only to the extent that it won’t disrupt the basic economic curve. If you raise it too much, the market will correct itself, so inflation will go up.”
