If the Legislature allowed statewide Sunday liquor sales, but in exchange nearly doubled alcohol taxes, would it be a good trade-off?

“I guess it depends on what they say they’ll do with the additional tax revenue. If education is brought up, fine. If they want to improve roads or something, it’s not so great.”

“No, because we’ll go to Missouri.”

“No. They already make a fortune off liquor.”

“No, I don’t think so. I would rather pay less taxes and plan ahead to not buy liquor on Sunday night.”
