What is on your Christmas wish list this year?
Asked at Massachusetts Street on December 25, 2004
“I’m asking for ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.’”
“Basically just winter clothes. I don’t really have my winter wardrobe, even though it’s almost January.”
“A refrigerator. I need one for the bar at my house.”
“A palm tree for my yard. I’ve been looking for one for a long time. Everyone says it’s ridiculous, but that’s what I want.”

That the provisional militarty government of the United States and of all state governments would end by having Congress declare peace instead of a renewed “emergency” every year.
(The military provisional government has been in power since the civil war originally in the southern states to keep the peace with a military style or martial law government operating under “emergency powers of the President”, but has been put in power in all 50 states and is renewed in the Federal government by Congress every year to keep Unconstitutional government in operation).
We need Congress to relinquish the renewal of “emergency powers” and end the constant wars (we need peace) in order to return to the Constitutional government that this country was based on, that respects the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. This would fix what is wrong with our country and give us back our real government that was overthrown by Congress during the civil war, and would return us to a real money system.

For the US to pull our troops out of Iraq so that we can turn it into a parking lot for the next thousand years or so… kablooey!
Oh, I would also like all the people that put some sort of stupid, political bumper sticker on their car to remove it. The elections over. Move on.

It's interesting, I remember “Season's Greetings” and “Happy Holidays” being around when I was a kid, more than 30 years ago, and nobody whined about it like they do today. It always struck me as a marketing ploy, so merchants could cover as many holidays as possible in this season. I don't know who decided it was an act of evil political correctness.
Anyway, if some folks want to say “happy holidays” or “season's greetings,” and it offends some other folks, too bad. Last time I checked, Christmas is still pretty dominant in this country. So, Mister or Missus “Kansas” (who said you speak for all of us?) just because you don't get your way 100% of the time, don't try to prevent others from exchanging the holiday greetings that suit them. And if some folks DO use “HH” or “SG” to include as many people as possible and make them welcome at this time, there is nothing wrong with that.

Well, the goose is in the oven and I have a few minutes to reflect on a wish for my list. A favorite wish I am sure would be for peace. If you think back in history, when was there ever world peace. There is always a conflict ocurring somewhere in the world.
Some one once said, “Peace is not just the absense of war”. Peace can be found in your soul or your heart if you take the time to look for it. I think it is best found in your attitude to life.
So my wish is for peace in your heart. Have a lovely day, people.
