“Easy way out. Out-of-town people working for the community are probably going to cause more trouble than good.”

“I think there’re benefits to it; it’s not just an easy way out. There are benefits to the community and to the people who do the work.”

“I think it allows criminals to work off their time and be able to get themselves back in good standing. It gives them a chance to make up for what they did wrong.”

“Community service for people who are criminals takes a lot of time and organization. It’s a good solution, but in reality if the programs aren’t organized correctly they won’t work.”
