Should convicted felons be required to submit a DNA sample for a Kansas Bureau of Investigations database?

“Yes. To me it’s the same as fingerprinting, only better, and I think it’d be some sort of help in case they do something like that again.”

“No, I don’t. Any felony is not indicative of physical violence. It’s not necessary. I don’t know how that would help society by requiring that of all individuals.”

“Yes, I do believe that. We can see if they’ve been involved in past crimes.”

“Yes. We need to be able to identify those people if they escape from prison. There’s many people out there who have gotten loose or are paroled. I think it’s important.”
