Should school administrators be able to pull controversial books out of classroom curriculum?

“It depends on the situation — what type of book it is.”

“Absolutely not. It should be up to the parents.”

“I’d have to say no, overall. There are some books I wouldn’t want to see in school, but where do you stop when you ban books?”

“I would say no because the students are old enough to know which books they want to read and which ones they don’t. And if they’re controversial, they may be beneficial for other reasons.”
