Do recall elections undermine or promote democracy?

“If it’s recalling someone who has committed a crime, it probably does not undermine it, but if it’s just because someone wanted to assume control, I think it does.”

“I think literally it will circumvent it because it’s not going with the original opinion, it’s going with the opinion of one or two people. He was elected, why can’t we keep it that way?”

“I think it’s a good thing. I think it gives the people an opportunity to vote.”
