Should Lawrence have design guidelines so new structures built within the city have common architectural features?

“I think it’s kind of neat to see various architectural settings in a community. I don’t care for some of them myself, but it’s still neat to see.”

“I think downtown should be uniform. Other than that, I don’t think it matters.”

“No, because I’d hate for Lawrence to look like Johnson County.”

“I think it’s a good idea to take into account the environment when building a new building. It makes the structure look better and the city look better.”
