What should schools do to increase the number of male teachers in elementary schools?

“If they only knew the need. There are so many kids who need to bond with males. I would say higher pay, but that’s discrimination. The females work just as hard as the males do.”

“Higher wages would probably help.”

“If they paid teachers what they deserved, it would draw more people, males or females, into the profession.”

“When it comes to young children and nurturing, it shouldn’t be, but it usually is the woman’s role. It’s progressing. Guys are being more stay-at home to help with kids.”
