Is the Atkins Diet a long-term solution to control weight gain?

“Absolutely not. I think for a temporary solution it’s a good diet, but for the long term it’s inadequate.”

“No. My aunt was on it. She broke her ribs because she was so depleted in calcium.”

“If you stick to it, it is.”

“No. First of all, I’m a vegetarian. Second of all, I believe it’s really unhealthy. You get so much fat and steroids from meat. I eat a lot of carbs as a vegetarian, and I don’t have a weight problem.”
